My, my. It seems this area has quite the high ratio of odd things happening to it. Another person described it as "chaos" and that's a very apt way to put it. Perhaps this school should be renamed to Discordia, instead of Poseidon?

This book has been like visiting with an old friend, really. Spells I had forgotten and guides as to what ingredients go into each one. Unfortunately, none of my students will have the pleasure of trying any of them, since they're all far above your current level, but it isn't about being able to cast stronger spells, it's about learning how to control the power you weild. Do try to remember that.

My. I come back after quite a long absence and find a few entries mentioning hospitals. I do hope that whatever caused the sudden rash in hospital visits has been handled, and that those injured will recover fully. Though it's been quite some time since I've traveled, and I'm rather tired. I will be retiring shortly.

OOC: Bioshock plot: Non-participating character [06 Jul 2009|06:05pm]
This is an OOC post to note that Maleficent will not be participating in the upcoming Bioshock plot. By the end of the second day, she will have left the campus for parts unspecified.

What an entertaining book! The idea that all magic is equal alone made it a worthwhile read. How absolutely absurd! If all magic were equal, then there would be no need for specific classes teaching the more advanced methods. A newcomer would be able to snap his or her fingers and crumble a mountain, or make things appear and disappear just by thinking about it.

I will have to see what other books are avaliable on the subject. If they're as amusing as this one, then I will not want much for entertainment.

The library here has quite the selection of books, including some I've only heard of in passing. This particular volume A synopsis of practiced Black Magic should be an entertaining distraction for the coming days.

I'll be living in Bouvardia East. Not that I have much to transport, or unpack. Snape, Ginny, and Wesker, I don't know if you've been informed of my moving in, so consider this my informing you. It won't take me long to establish myself in the avaliable room.

What a quaint school this is. Far too quaint. My name is Maleficent, you are not required nor expected to place 'Professor' in front of it. I will be teaching Black Magic to anyone fourteen years and older, when the next school year begins. If you wish to learn, identify yourself, your age and whatever experience you have with the black arts, if any. Do not expect these classes to be easy. They will be anything but, and you will be cast aside if you cannot prove yourself capable of following them. This also includes what would qualify as the 'beginner' class. If you require your hand to be held and mindless praise for doing the basics of something, you will look elsewhere.
