| Bio: | Disclaimer: This is a fictional journal for ----- Character information: Name: Maleficent Age: 40 Grade/Job: Teacher, Black Magic from basic to advanced, for high school-college age students. Room assignment: Bouvardia East Physical appearance: Standing at an impressive 6'1", Maleficent is noticeably thin, with well defined facial features. More to the point, her eyes, which would at first glance have the appearance of advanced Jaundice. Her irises are pitch black, and her Sclera are a vibrant, cat-like yellow. Despite the odd color match, Maleficent is anything but ill. Due to her fairy heritage, Maleficent's skin is a pale green. Perhaps to offset the contrast, or due to heritage, her eyelids are a heavy purple and her mouth is bright red. Maleficent often wears her usual outfit, consisting of a long black and purple loose fitting dress, with a flame-like design cut into the sleeves and at the ends. Her hair is hidden by her head dress, which is designed to resemble demonic horns. She carries a crystal-ball topped gold staff with her at all times, as the source of the majority of her magic abilities. Personality: Heartless would be one of the easier ways to describe her, but in addition to that she can be needlessly cruel, vain, and ruthless. Describing herself as the "mistress of all evil" and indicating during one very fateful encounter that she had the powers of Hell itself at her beck and call, Maleficent is anything but "nice". She's not without some form of tact, however, as indicated by her introduction at Princess Aurora's christening. This was proven short lived, as she quickly insulted the other fairies in the area, but it still stands. When she has to, Maleficent can act nice, but that's all that it is. An act. History: No one really knows where Maleficent came from, her parents, or her home life. There were rumors in the kingdom that she simply appeared one day, claiming an abandoned castle as her own and destroyed anyone and anything who dared challenge that. There were other rumors that the Devil had placed her on Earth as a test, but as far as anyone knows, the only certain thing is that both rumors have never been confirmed, and that Maleficent seemed to enjoy the idea of the Devil himself trying to order her around. If Maleficent has family or friends, it's well hidden and she's in no hurry to acknowledge any of it. It was even assumed that she was one of the black sheep of the royal family, but they quickly denied that (As did Maleficent) upon Aurora's birth. Which is where her history takes a turn. Maleficent wasn't originally going to pay any attention to the birth of King Stefan's daughter, but after not receiving an invitation to the christening ceremony, Maleficent's anger grew enough for her to crash the ceremony. After listening to the (in her mind) weak excuses for not inviting her, Maleficent repaid the slight with a blessing of her own for the royal daughter. Cursing Aurora to die at the age of 16 after pricking her finger on a spinning wheel, Maleficent disappeared soon after, laughing about her triumph. It wasn't to be, since the three fairies who had been invited softened the spell to where Aurora wouldn't die, but sleep for a century before being woken up by her true love. Either way, sixteen years passed, Aurora- now going by the name of Briar Rose for her safety- was raised by the three fairies, met Prince Philip and was finally told of her real identity as the daughter of the king. Taken back to the castle to be introduced to the prince (who Aurora didn't realize was the same one as the one she'd met in the forest), Maleficent's curse saw itself through. Pricking her finger on a spinning wheel after being put into a trance by Maleficent, Aurora slept while the three fairies worked on putting the remainder of the castle under the same spell to keep things the way that Aurora had remembered them. Meanwhile, Maleficent captured Philip and held him captive, though he eventually escaped with the assistance of the three fairies. Enraged, Maleficent challenged Philip to a showdown, transforming into her ultimate form, a large, fire breathing dragon. She was almost successful in killing the prince before one of the fairies charmed Phillip's sword to strike when thrown. Pierced through the heart, and already on a shaky piece of rock, Maleficent fell to her death in the chasm beneath the area, where she disappeared, leaving nothing but her robe and Phillip's sword, still embedded in it. But that wasn't the end. When Maleficent became aware of herself, she realized she had died, but hadn't stayed dead. Finding herself near a new set of buildings, the fairy read the plaque near the closest entrance and headed in. After some persuasion, she was signed on as the teacher for Black Magic, given a room assignment and welcomed to Poseidon. Sexual orientation: Straight. Maleficent's never been in a romantic relationship- she sees love as a weakness- but since this is Disney we're talking about, and this movie was made in 1959, I can't see her as anything but heterosexual. | |||||||||
